The smell is HORRIFIC. It smells like sylicon and garlic with other chemicals mixed together! Its super gross it burned my nose when I first smelled it. It also takes long to dry.

Cheap Covergirl Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss, 0.37 Ounce
The polish went on nice and thick and the color looks good and solid with only one application, but unfortunately the brush is terrible...the bristles do not fan out at all and appear clumped together and I will have to go over my fingers with acetone to get rid of all the blotches of polish that ended up on my skin. :/ I will not be buying this again. It's a shame because the color does look nice otherwise.

The color isn't bad but the square cap is the worst brush I've ever, ever used. It's completely awkward to hold and the brush seems short so you can't so the polish you're applying because the square cap is huge and the brush short. Both are glass fleck shimmer polishes. I have tried layering Midnight Magic over different shades of purple and it looks beautiful no matter what I layer it over. Speaking of purple...the photo of the bottle on here makes it appear that the polish is green...it is not...it is a steely gray purple color. Very similar to Zoya Fei Fei, Sinful Colors Winter Wonder and OPI On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Timeless Rubies is a coppery pinkish color and is also just as beautiful. I love glass fleck polishes. When I am wearing them I find myself staring at my nails lol. I love this polish! I can see why some might complain about the odd cap and the huge brush but that's what I love about it! I hate little skinny brushes that takes me at least 3 strokes to completely fill my nail bed. This gets it all on one stroke, if most two. The color is vibrant (Vio-last) and stays on the longest of all polish I own! Everyone always compliments my toes and nails when I wear this. That said, why I love these nails:
After I select the sizes, it actually takes me 5 minutes to put them on!
They look real!
They shine! Colors are beautiful!
The size is shorter than other fake nails, which for me is perfect. For longer real nails, you may not like it. It'll not cover them.
NEVER had any damage to my real nails using these. In fact I bite my nails, so they're very thin, break easily in the rare occasions I'm able to let them grow, but Impress never caused any damage to them!
If I polish the nail surface with a smooth file, then clean with some polish remover, the nails will stay for longer. My record is 6 days (including swimming pool, moving day, etc...)
If I want them to last longer, I can use super glue and they'll be just like regular fake nails.
(super glue does damage my nails a little, so I only use them in very extreme situations).
They help me stop biting my nails.
They're super easy to remove (I just delicately pull them).
Oh, one last con: although they last long, you should avoid using them for things we usually use nails and don't realize (opening a bracelet or watch, scratching your own skin, or anything for which we use nails as "tools"), except when using with super glue, of course...

My friends and I got these (not this color, some insane ghetto pattern) as a funny joke for a polo fields day once... turned out they stayed on for over a week! Ever since then we have been getting them instead of acrylics or manicures. My natural nails are pretty bad, but my good friend who uses them too, hers are very healthy. Neither of us have noticed any negative side effects from these press-on nails, in fact I never noticed any damage. Then again, I only take them off once one or two has fallen off, I wait until the adhesive is loose already, so it's not really a big deal. They are awesome for weddings, or parties, or vacation, especially when you can't pack nail polish remover or all your stuff, you don't have to worry about nail polish or manicures chipping! We both wore different colors of these to our vacation in Mexico-we were there for 5 nights, 6 days, in the pool and ocean CONSTANTLY and they didn't come off! I wore these for a week and once I removed them the top of all of my nails have been peeling. They have been doing this now for over a month and have peeled off into the quick. imPress nails damage your nails. I wouldn't not recommend to ANYONE. The $10 for such a small amount can be really off-putting but this stuff is AMAZING! It is a very thin formula so it will last you quite a while. I have razor thin nails that bend so easily and the bending was causing my polish to chip and my nails to peel. Its always been that way, and was probably caused by years of biting. My first use: Within 24 hours my nails were very noticeably stronger. The instructions tell you to remove the protein every day and re-apply for two weeks or until your nails feel strong again. I personally found it very easy to follow because the protein coat is thin and easy to remove, and since it dries very quickly it is also easy to apply. Now I just apply it as a base coat under every polish and it keeps my nails strong and healthy. I have also noticed that it does provide a moderate amount of yellowing protection when used as a base coat(not 100%, but my natural nails are much whiter compared to when I did not use any base coat) and it also dries matte and very slightly textured, so its a great surface for adhering polish or a glossy topcoat. I can't live without this stuff anymore! I ordered these along with the scented set by M.A.S.H. I've used the ridge filler and the quick dry top coat so far. The brush for the top coat came out of the lid right after the first nail so I have to find some glue to glue it back.
I used my normal base coat because it's a moisturizing one, then the ridge filler. Since I had buffed my nails a bit before I started my mani, my nails were very, very smooth after the ridge filler. It dries to a matte, which was very pretty all by itself.
Then came 3 coats of color, a coat of a sheer duo chrome for sparkle then the top coat a total of 7 coats, with a bit of drying time in between. The whole thing had dried completely in plenty of time before I went to bed that I didn't have to worry about finding my nails messed up in the morning.
Pretty good deal for five bucks and a decent intro to their polish line. I'll be getting the glitter version soon, I think.
