I am a 55 year old grandma who has struggled with her fingernails all of her life. I did a search on the internet on products that would strengthen my nails and I ended up on Amazon.com. I have tried dozens of products and this one actually works. I've been able to grow my nails so long that I had to file them down---they were getting so long I couldn't type or play the piano. I am telling everyone who notices my nails about this product. Now, if I could just find a weightloss product that worked!!!!

This is a superb product to harden soft/peeling nails. I have used it for decades and my nails are long and hard thanks to this product. When I do not use it, my nails become soft again. I use as a base and as a top coat to give it gloss. Highly recommended.

The $10 for such a small amount can be really off-putting but this stuff is AMAZING! It is a very thin formula so it will last you quite a while. I have razor thin nails that bend so easily and the bending was causing my polish to chip and my nails to peel. Its always been that way, and was probably caused by years of biting. My first use: Within 24 hours my nails were very noticeably stronger. The instructions tell you to remove the protein every day and re-apply for two weeks or until your nails feel strong again. I personally found it very easy to follow because the protein coat is thin and easy to remove, and since it dries very quickly it is also easy to apply. Now I just apply it as a base coat under every polish and it keeps my nails strong and healthy. I have also noticed that it does provide a moderate amount of yellowing protection when used as a base coat(not 100%, but my natural nails are much whiter compared to when I did not use any base coat) and it also dries matte and very slightly textured, so its a great surface for adhering polish or a glossy topcoat. I can't live without this stuff anymore! It is seriously a must-have for anyone who wants to keep their nails in the strongest and healthiest condition possible.
