This polish is awful! The brush is very large making it difficult to apply neatly and the polish is very clumpy and doesn't apply smoothly. This bottle is going in the garbage where it belongs. So beautiful and glittery. I read the directions and hints carefully and they mention shaking the bottle vigorously. I would not have probably done this if I didn't read the directions. I didn't think that gel polishes needed to be shaken! I am on Week 2 and the color is still vibrant and not a single chip! And I have received LOTS of compliments. They also included their entire color line in the package and I am definitely going to buy more!

This color may not be everyone's cup of teait is super sheer. Essie's site recommends it for french manicures, but I just use it on it's own. I was frustrated with opaque polishes because chipping is so obvious, but I wanted something a bit more exciting than clear. Essie No-Prenup fits the bill perfectly! One or two coats gives your nails a natural, healthy, rosy tint but is sheer enough that mistakes and chipping are not obvious. It's a clean and simple look. I used to live in South America and I still have friends from there mail me polish because their polish works so much better than your average American polish-Well, until I found American Apparel polishes. I have to use several coats, but once I get it on it stays on with minimal chipping and people always comment on how great the colors are. Be warned, the colors you see on the computer don't always look like what comes in the bottle.
Personal FavoriteSummer Peach (The first day I wore it 4 women asked me where I got my nails done, seriously. It's that good.) It goes on in a perfect nude color, makes fingers look ultra long, and best of all you can hardly see chips!
I recommend this nail polish to anyone looking for a moderately priced nail polish that is rich in color and stays on fingers and toes.

Discount LeChat ProTec Gel Top"Clear".5oz
A nail tech for 37 years,I have quite a bit of experience with Gel Sealers. I previously used a different brand of gel sealer for years on my clients until the formula was changed and it no longer adhered properly. I played with other brands and found that Le Chat's ProTec was just what I needed. Does not peel or chip, applies easily, no yellowing, but will need the full 2.5 to 3 minute cure in a 9 watt UV Lamp. This enhancement Sealer works well over acrylics and wraps and is one of the best I have ever used!
The one thing I like best about it is that you do NOT have to wipe your nails with alcohol after you've applied and dried in the uv light. AND the shine is awesome. Easy to apply, no chipping, lifting or peeling just GREAT gel polish!! Combine that with the low price and not only do you save time, but money! I can buy 3 of these as compared to the others and it's less work!
I will definitely purchase again and would highly recommend it to others.

I have recently started doing my own nails, as opposed to getting them done at the salon. I've purchased several different brands of gel top coats, to see what I would like best. I was under the assumption from the picture that this was round not octagon. I have the konad set, and this wont fit it, and it's not worth returning. At first I was dissapointed because the engravings of the design were not deep enough. I then noticed that when I scraped the image a plastic covering would lift. I then noticed there was a plastic sticker on top of it to protect it. I then removed it and my THE DESIGNS came out awsome.. I love it. I loved the concept and the packaging made them very easy to deal with, I also liked the effect it gave on my nails. THe only reason I did not give a 5: they are next to impossible to return to the bottle and they are difficult to applyYou only can only design two nails with each bottle it should of been less than $2. I like this product because it is more flexible than other base/top coats that I've used. I have thin nails that flex a lot. Usually manicures last 1 to 1 1/2 days as the polish flakes/chips off as my nail flexes. Washing my hands, dishes or showering makes my nails even more flexible. This isn't perfect, but is better than anything else I've found. Review of Nubar Sparkles Collection - Star Sparkles (G180)
Star Sparkles by Nubar is a great polish and here's why... you can use is over a clear base, a colored base or under a light color.
It gives your polish an extra dimension without the heavy glitter look. If you use only the Star Sparkles over a clear base, you get a rich, soft silver grey prismatic effect.
I just put it on over an OPI pink and silver glitter polish. One coat of the OPI was showing some glitter gaps but two coats of it would have too strong on the glitter. I wanted my nails to look summery not disco. That's when I decided to try the Star Sparkles over the OPI. Not only did it fill in the clear gaps but it gave a soft holographic effect.
I absolutely love how my nails came out. ( I also had equal success when I tried it over Butter's black sparkle polish. It gave the butter polish a holographic sheen.)
However you decide to use Star Sparkle, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
It's rainbow colors are amazingly beautiful!

This is a clear polish full of holographic glitter. It is very, very sparkly and pretty holographic glitter at most angles, but it's pretty thick, crunchy, crusty glitter. It will smooth out with a coat or two (or three) of clear topcoat, but it is definitely not smooth on its own. I really loved the pink color of this polish and the store no longer carried it once I went back for another bottle. I am very light skinned so I have a difficult time with pinks not looking obnoxious. This has blue undertones so its perfect. It has a very high sparkle factor! It sparkles like mad in any light but especially the sun!! Note you will need at least two coats of this for full coverage, I usually go with three.

I'm not sure this is normal, since I'm new at doing my own acrylic nails, but it remains sticky until I rub it down with isopropyl alcohol. I usually end up putting a clear coat over it anyway... But I still use it regularly when giving myself a manicure :)

Maybe I've been living in the Nail Polish Dark Ages or something, but I have now seen the light! I hardly ever paint my nails because it's such a pain to get each nail to look nice. I bought this polish because it was on sale, and I tried it for the first time today. I will seriously never buy any other brand of polish! This polish made painting my nails sooo easy! The brush is wide enough to paint each nail with only one stroke (except for my thumb nails, which took two strokes each), and the polish instantly evens itself out. I was shocked by how fast it dried, as well -it literally only took a few seconds. My only complaint is that applying the top coat is a little tricky if you don't sweep it on super fast, then it picks up the previously dried nail polish and leaves your nails looking less than perfect.
I'll try to remember to update this review when I find out how long the polish lasts on my nails. :)

This polish dries so fast that you have to work quickly while applying it. This color is absolutely beautiful and with a no chip top coat it seems to be going strong. I highly recommend this line of polish!
