I really like the Essie ridge Filling Base Coat! First let me say that it is not the best at filling in ridges (so they should probably just change the name.) However, as a base coat it works great! It makes my nail polish last a long time, and I am really pleased with this purchase!

Bought this for my toenails and it fills in the ridges nicely. Smooth enough to polish over but I wear it alone, looks nice anyway.

I recommend this product to anyone that has any sort of imperfections on even one of their nails, because even if you don't notice imperfections on other nails, they are there. It makes these ridges and dips like they are not even there and really provides a clean smooth surface to paint on. Also, if you don't even use a base coat...you should start, this stuff is amazing. I can't say enough good things about it. Also, it dries quickly. It takes about 3 minutes for both hands to completely dry.
