I bought this base along with the seche vite top coat. The reason I bought it was because I tried to remove my acrylic nails on my own but the acetone I was using wasn't strong enough. This meant sitting for hours with my nails soaking and having little progress. I becoming extremely impatient so I ended up prying the acrylic nails off. This cause a lot of breakage and really deep, ugly, and uneven ridges. I expected this product to make the unsightly ridges disappear and it did exactly that. With two coats of this, two coats of my nail polish and one coat of the seche vite top coat, my nails are now really smooth and look like a professional manicure! This along with the seche vite top coat are perfect and gave me really beautiful results. I will be repurchasing this when I run out.

I love Seche Vite top coat and use it faithfully so I decided to try the base coat. My nails are smooth and they look great on day 1. All downhill from there... The polish certainly sticks to the base coat however the base coat does NOT stick to the nail. Within a day, the polish just peels on the edges and chips like crazy. And it isn't just small pieces of polish, it comes off in pieces half the size of your nail. I've used it twice with Zoya polish which I can usually get to last a week and a half plus with small wear and I'm not day 2 right now and need to repaint. Probably won't use again.

The Seche Top Coat is one of the best I've ever tried, but this base coat flat out stinks. My nail polish began chipping the very next day. At first I thought it was the nail polish, but I suspected it might be the base coat. So I repainted my nails using OPI base coat and the same nail polish, and voila, nails have barely chipped in nearly a week. Totally disappointed in this base coat from Seche. And it was free.

What more can I say? I love this stuff. If you have ridges or furrows on your nails and you are using an opaque polish over top, this stuff rocks! I swear by Seche Base Ridge Filler, both personally and professionally.
