I had tried about five different things to fix a bad split on my dry brittle nails. This product is the one that finally did the trick. It goes on in a very thin layer and dries fast, so I could add another layer almost immediately. It took about three weeks, but keeping the split nail trimmed and applying a few coats of this polish on the nail every four or five days helped the split to grow out without splitting further.
I usually can't wear polish, because most of them seem to do more damage to already brittle nails, but I'm going to keep using this one.

So far this seems to help my cracked and peeling nails. They've looked better in the past few weeks, but so far they're still peeling. I will continue using this though because it's worked better than anything else I tried before.

I think this is the solution to my problem nail! I've been using Nicole by OPI Nail Treatment, Moisture Plus, 0.5 Fluid Ounce for six months and like the improvement in my nails. I have very hard nails that grow long and do not need strengtheners; however, for the past couple of years, I have one nail that develops a vertical reidge and others that show signs of following suit. As the nail grows out, it splits along the ridge, and I have to trim the nail short to keep it from splitting to the quick. This treatment reduces the ridge and, so far, seems to be eliminating the split that develops as the nail grows out. It doesn't chip, and I can keep adding coats as my nails continue to grow. The new coats blend with previous coats and leave a smooth shiny finish. Every two or three weeks, I remove it all with nail polish remover and start all over again. Thanks OPI!

I am yet to see full benefits of using this moisture treatment, but for the time being it is working nicely.
