I was surprised at how well this polish worked. I was a bit skeptical that a simple top coat could actually change the pigmentation of a polish, but it most certainly did.

One note on the Shape Shifter color it is much more purple than it looks on screen, or in the bottle. With the top coat it is a very deep bright purple. I think it's gorgeous.

I own a lot of China Glaze, and I found this polish went on better than almost all other collections. I could get by no problem with one coat. It went on opaque right away. I was really impressed.

I didn't use the China Glaze top coat, I used Nubar Diamont, and the tranzition worked great. I'm thinking any top coat will activate it.

Next time I will use a fingertip guide though, my tips were uneven without it and I ended up painting my whole nail with the top coat because I couldn't live with the unevenness. Kind of against the point of this polish to end up with a solid polish. Regardless, the color is gorgeous so I'm not upset about it

I rated china glazed 5 stars, because this nail polish last longer, than OPI and any of there competitors, and the prices are really afforable

First of all, it works! That made me very happy. Not all beauty products do what they claim to do. I like the colors together and saw almost instant results when I applied the top coat to my nail swatch. I thought I was buying a more black/pewter color, it is actually purple and pewter/charcoal. My bad for not reading more carefully when I was picking colors. Either way, I'm going to be using it. The colors compliment each other nicely and gave good coverage with just one coat.

The polish goes on too thick, and it chip easily. It tranzitions well, but it look dull where you don't put the top coat.

The only good thing about it is when you put the top coat on the tip, it does change color.
