I think these stickers are meant to cover the tip of the nail because I cannot imagine that they would look good in any other way. I could not use the sticker because they were too narrow. I don't think that I have wide nails yet there was about 1-2mm uncovered on each side of my nail tip. If you have narrow nails this may work for you. I was able to use the flowers because those stickers are separate from the nailcap-type stickers.
