Ok, first of all I've tried a lot of top coats. My first one was Pro FX's high gloss top coat. I liked it but I stopped being able to find it anywhere. So I tried Beauty Secrets' top coat. It worked horribly for me. So I tried Sally Hansen's Insta-Driit barely lasted 3 days. So I tried Essie's Good To Go.... it was good to go in the trash is all I have to say. Then I tried Sally Hanson's diamond top coat. I hated how I could see if I was running out or not with its black bottle. It also didn't last for me. Finally I tried China Glaze's fast forward top coat. It started to chip the very next day. Mind you I wear gloves while doing dishes and didn't involve myself in any rigorous, nail chipping activity within 12 hours.

Soooooo, I was literally about to give up when I came across Hoofer's Choice. I was a bit skeptical. But hey, at this point what do I have to lose?? This is my absolute fave and I wish I would've found it earlier. It lasts 5 days for me before it shows any wear. That's huge for me. I barely could last 24 hours with the others. It stays shiny the entire duration. And it dries quickly. No longer than 2 minutes it's dry to the touch. I can go to bed or do other sorts of activities without messing them up. The only downside is the bottle takes some getting use to. You know how most nail polish bottles have a small opening at the top? This doesn't, the opening is huge with a relatively small brush. So if you accidentally knock it over, you're doomed. Other than that, I really love it. I've finally found a top coat that I wasn't just settling with. I highly recommend you make Hoofer's Choice your choice : )
