I almost didn't buy this because of the previous bad review, but went ahead anyway. I'm so glad I did! This nail polish is great. Went on smoothly, very shiny, and hasn't chipped yet (it's been a week so far). I love it!

I bought one shade and wound up getting rid of it.. it's not vegan. their nail polish typically contains carmine, an animal ingredient, used as the red dye additive. in fact they acknowledge this on their website.

I adore Peacekeeper Causemetics for obvious reasons-they give back. However, they also have created an awesome product. I get compliments all the time on the color of my polish. It's high-gloss, high-quality and lasts a long time. Thanks for all you do for the world and for wonderful products. I definitely recommend these products. The price is well worth it and the benefits are outstanding.

I bought this online after seeing some basic colors at a health food store. I found the color Forgiving which is a partially sheer nude with sparkle. It would be great over a French manicure. I manicure my nails myself with this color every two weeks. With 2 thin layers you're looking at 11 1/2 weeks wear for someone who works with her hands. Try making it last with Peacekeeper's Eternal clear polish. That keeps the color lasting 2 weeks with minimal cracks or chips to your nail tips. I'm anxious to try some other brands of clear polish on top.

Note: I use the color under the clear coat because after a few days the clear coat turns a yellow tint. Regarding the red carmine ingredient: the company admits that there isn't enough testing to prove that carmine is harmful to animals/humans and they therefore continue to use that ingredient. Sorry vegans but you read the labels more than anyone else anyway!
