This was a mistake. I thought it would be fun to have and play with, but is nothing like the commercial. Maybe that is why it is on at 2 am. Only people who stay up that late a dumb enough to waste their time and money. The only thing that works on the commercial is if you put the magnet on the side of the bottle you can see the design. That appears to be the only way to make the design work. It is extremely difficult to make the design work and not touch the magnet to the newly polished nail. Over all this item is not as "cool" as it looks.

this product was cheap and works good, i love the designs nail polish even stays on longer than normal nailpolish. quick styleish way to paint your nails.

I did not purchase this product from Amazon, but want to warn consumers before they purchase. First of all, getting the magnet to create the design you want without actually touching your wet nail is next to impossible. And, yes, you have to apply two coats before the magnet will even register. I was skeptical about using a magnet with chemicals in the first place, and now I know where my concern came from. I used the blue polish, and when I removed it from my fingernails, my nails remained with a blue tint. Yes, you heard me: My nail beds are blue where the polish was. Also, I barely got through the day without the polish chipping. Please don't waste your money. Now I have to figure out what to do with my blue-tinted fingernails. I also did my toenails, so it's a good thing fall is here and I don't have to worry about open-toed shoes. Socks it is!
