I bought this especially for use on top of glittery polishes that dry too rough and dull. One coat of this on top of your glitter polish and then one coat of Poshe Top Coat, and your rough dull glitter polish becomes perfectly smooth and shiny. I have no idea how this product functions as an actual basecoat because I've never tried using it under polish, but Poshe makes a darn good fast dry topcoat so their basecoat is probably good.
