I'm not sure what it is, but Nicole by OPI top coat is different from normal OPI top coat. I picked it up on Amazon because it was cheaper. The consistancy is a bit different from normal OPI. It doesn't go on quite as easily, and it also doesn't seem to be setting as quickly. It's definitely not quite as durable. My nail polish has chipped 1-2 days earlier than normal the three times that I've used this so far. It's still better than anything you're going to pick up in the grocery store, but stick to the non-Nicole line for top coat.

The Top Coat by Nicole is a really bad top coat. It is the worse I have tried because it does not protect the nail and gives it no shine at all. Do not recommend.

I wanted to try this top coat in place of a standard quick dry top coat (which are thick and sometimes get bubbly). But this polish is very very thin, and hard to spread across the nail. I also find it is very slow to dry. I let my nails dry for over two hours before going to bed, and wake up with sheet prints smashed into the top coat. Not recommended.

What's the point in buying a nail polish if it dosen't come with the brush inside the cap? Very dissapointed.

I never really use top coats so I'm not sure how WELL they're supposed to work. I used this on top of 2 layers of OPI's "From Ears to Tail" and the other reviews were right-it DID take a long time to wait. Not several hours like others insinuated but around 15 mins, which is really long for me. Anyway, I had it on for 2-3 days and it didn't chip! I was very impressed. It only did when I was doing dishes at the bakery I work at and I had my hands soaked in water and bubbles for a couple hours. I wasn't upset, I was surprised it only chipped twice while I was doing dishes! I'm using it again on OPI's Cajun Shrimp. I think it may have something to do with the colored nail polish brand, I'm used to using the cheap ones. Either way, long story short, I like this top coat regardless of the 15 minutes it takes to dry and will continue to use it.
