I am a nail polish junkie and have purchased everything from inexpensive drug store brands all the way to high-end nail polish brands such as Chanel and Dior. At $18 a bottle, I expected a lot from this polish and put it in the same class as the high-end bottles I had previously purchased.
Overall, I really like this polish and have the following comments:
* I wish the brush were slimmer and flatter for easier application of thinner coats of polish. The brush is slightly more cylindrical in shape and as a result, polish application can be streaky and uneven at times. Because of the streaks, you cannot get away with doing one coat. Two coats are absolutely necessary to get the color payoff you'd expect.
* The polish has a thicker consistency compared to other brands.
* The polish dries fairly quickly and with a decent shine to it.
* As someone who uses their hands a lot, this polish lasted a solid week (with a top coat) before chipping which is very good for me.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend this nail polish for the color, finish, and overall look. Just be prepared for a slightly thicker formula and give yourself enough time to do two coats to avoid streaks.

I have cancer and I have a list of ingredients to avoid in make-up. NARS nail polish contains isopropylaalcohol and dimethicone, so, needless to say, I won't be using this product. I'm very disappointed. It is sometimes tiresome to research products. My best guess is there are no safe nail polishes. I just wish it hadn't been listed under "organic" when it is no such thing.
