The gold effect is nice. I was expecting a bit more bling than what it is, but it does a pretty good job of jazzing up any manicure with a nice gold sheen. It would look great over any light color for a more subtle gold look, as the darker base colors show it more as a glitter and less of a shimmer.

Wear this on top of my regular nail color mauve, cranberry, even some of the OPI Desiogner Series which are already sparkly. This gives it just one more layer of sparkle. Have both the gold and the raspberry. Although I prefer the raspberry to the gold, the gold goes well with some of the colors that lean toward the beige or brownish hues. I always use a nice top coat over this as well.
