San Tropez is much lighter than I expected. I find it more like a super translucent white-tan-pink, rather than the perfect pale pink some described. It takes many coats to cover, and sadly for me, it doesn't stay on my chipping/peeling nails--even for an evening out. Of course my chipping and peeling nails are why I use Nailtiques products in the first place. (Nailtiques Pro Protein Formula 2 Plus, specifically. It doesn't change my terrible nails, but painting on a layer everyday or every other day--until it gets thick and easily peels off--does add strength and permits some nail growth as long as I use it faithfully.) I had hoped Nailtiques brand lacquer would be the one colored polish I could use, but no such luck. Alas!

While I love the color that I got, it was not the color I expected. I ordered Tahiti & expected it to be a pinkish red but it is really just a dark pink. My only other complaint is that the polish doesn't really hold up very well. I find my polish usually peels or chips after only a day of wear & I only use it with the nailtiques base & top coats. Maybe I just got a bad bottle. Either way, I am a huge fan of nailtiques & will continue to use the product because of the miracles it has worked on my nails.

I love Nailtiques products, and this lovely shade, "San Tropez", was exactly what I wanted! It's a very pale, subtle color, almost clear but with a hint of barely-there pink.

San tropez is perfect pale color. Love that it's nailtiques and is hardening my nails at the same time. I went back and ordered four more colors it's such a great product. Seems to wear very well too.

I love Nailtiques products and I wanted to try one of their brighter shades in a red tone. This color, "Maui", is a bright shade of pink. It looked more red in the photo than it actually is. It is a pretty pink, though.
