I got an email from Sephora showing off their new products and this is something that I absolutely had to try!
I purchased both colors, the Trafalgar Square and Houses Of Parliament.
As of right now, the silvery Trafalgar Square is my favorite, I absolutely love the way the nail polish comes out.
It took a couple times to try the polish before getting used to it.
The nail polish dries pretty quickly, so you have to work pretty fast when doing your nails.
The directions say:
To create the "magnetic effect," apply a generous coat of magnetic polish to one nail, and immediately hold the cap that contains the magnet over the nail. (Do this quickly while the polish is still wet. There is a small lip on the cap which should be placed just below your cuticle allowing the magnet to be positioned perfectly over your nail.) Hold very close to the nail for 10-15 seconds, taking care not to touch the nail with the magnet. -Repeat on all 10 nails and apply a top coat to seal the design.
I found that for my nails except my thumb because it is larger than the rest of my nails it wasnt as easy to get the entire nail to show the design.
I also have been having the issue of before I can get the magnet over the tip of my nail that it has set already (very fast) and the magnet doesnt work for touch upsyou have to redo your entire nail.
So, you have to paint each nail one by one and apply the magnet while each nail is wet.
The design that you end up with looks very cool and I think would be appropiate for anyone of any age!
Its very easy to use (once you get the hang of itit was hard the first time not to touch the magnet to the wet nail)
I think the price is pretty spendy for the bottle of nail polish, but even with that said, I will be buying these for my sister as a gift, because the polish is so cool!
Just wondering what they are going to come up with next!

Even at a steep price, this polish is worth the expense. I used Essie Protein Base Coat, Essie top coat on my left hand, Nubar top coat on my right hand. Both hands wore better than even my OPI polishes--day five, and I have one small chip and the tips are showing some wearing down, but overall, this stuff wears better than any other polish I've used recently. Usually by day five, several nails have serious chips and flakes, or even crackled as if the polish were too thick; not so with this polish, although this is the first time I've ever used Nails Inc polish. That said, the top coat applied 20 minutes after the last coat of polish did "drag" some of the design in the polish, but not so noticeable unless you look closely.Now, how do I like the idea of magnetic nail polish? It is the RAGE. I am 41, and work in a professional office, and am comfortable wearing this. I have the purple shade (Houses of Parliament), and it actually works with many colors of clothing. I was initially concerned that it would be too dark, but the purple definitely shows well. Compliments? They're still coming in. Co-workers, friends, my two doctors' visits this week, several GUYS that I know, my teenaged daughter, even perfect strangers on the bus commented!!!
Ease of application: this polish is not for beginners, but since I've been painting my own nails my whole life, I'm sure by my second or third time using this stuff, it will be old hat--as would be the case for anyone that is familiar with painting nails. You need to put the second layer on very thick, and one nail at a time and hover the magnet for 10-15 seconds before going on to the second coat on the next nail. I was very careful not to touch the polish with the magnet, as I have heard that you do not want to use nail polish remover on the magnet--I'm not sure why, but I saw in a blog post that it can damage the magnet. I would suggest if you are concerned about this to just wipe off as much as you can as soon as you notice it but don't use remover.
My only beef: I wish there were more colors. I don't like greens, yellows, or blues, and the silver might appear too black--and don't want to risk buying a bottle that I don't like at this price. Still, it would be nice to see some magentas, reds, taupes and browns with this effect.
Overall, VERY impressed with this polish, and love the purple shade.
