I was hesitant to try this for fear it would end up looking really noticeable and/or be hard to apply. It isn't that hard to get a nice groomed look with this stuff. It took a little practice to get the hang of how much product to load on the applicator brush and a little patience to master using my left hand to apply it to the nails on my right (dominant) hand.

I found it worked best for me to go down one side of the nail with one stroke, down the opposite side with the next, and finally down the center with the last stroke (or two). It dries pretty quickly so don't try to apply it near any kind of fan, which would seem obvious to most people (except me, of course).

The final result was surprisingly even, natural-looking and not at all obvious. It produced a nice sheen, but far less shiny than buffing them. It just ended up looking like I have well-groomed hands. Yay! I'm sure the results would be far superior if one had a professional manicurist do it though.

I have used this product in the past and found it to be the only one available with a clear, flat/satin finish. I like to keep my nails looking good without looking like a woman with glossy nail polish. I find that polish helps keep my nails from splitting and cracking. I know what man need nail polish! Well without male nail which by the way is a matted finish I have a tendency to bite my nail. Biten nails look worst than nails with a polish... Odd but true

I'm female and I love this! I prefer bare fingernails but the clear polishes I've tried are too glossy for my taste. This is perfect! No gloss or shine, just healthy, natural looking nails. I've gone through 2 bottles since discovering this product a few years ago. Now onto my third. :)
