I am amazed at the results I have gotten by this nail buffer! I usually have kept my nails natural--I do too much with my hands (from art projects to washing dishes, cleaning house) to fuss with painting my nails and keeping them pretty. Now, once a week, I use the nail buffer to smooth and shine my nails. They are very healthy-looking and they STAY SHINY as if I painted my nails with clear nail polish--only better because it's not polish, won't chip, or need to be removed with nasty chemicals. I cannot believe how awesome this is!! NATURAL BEAUTY at your fingertips...hahaha This low-maintenance gal loves having pretty, smooth, and shiny nails without a lot of fanfare, expense, or time involved.

I love the 3 sided pads for smoothing, buffing and polishing. I quit using all nail polishes; my nails began to grow out strong and healthy. They stopped chipping and peeling. I now have pretty, natural nails and they are very low maintenance. When I'm in a hurry I just use the white side for a quick polish and go! NOTE: When the white "polish" side dries out and doesn't work as well I've found a quick swipe with a paper towel and rubbing alcohol will renew the properties.

10/5/11 Recently I placed an order for six nail buffers to use as stocking stuffers for my gal pals. The buffer strips were mounted on wood blocks that seemed to have a definite odor. I found the odor to be very unpleasant. I waited 3 weeks for the smell to fade but it still bothered me. (I am very sensitive to fragrances.) I contacted the seller and received a very quick response. The company promptly exchanged the wooden blocks for the blue plastic ones which have no odor. Customer service was polite and professional in their contacts with me. I am very happy with the company and the way this matter was handled.

I'm very impressed by this product it leaves a very nice, long-lasting shine on my nails that looks almost like clear polish but doesn't chip or flake off.

There are three sides to the buffer a course surface for shaping and smoothing, a finer one for buffing, and the last one that leaves a shiny coating. I've used the first buffer out of the set of six several times now and the shiny side still works. Highly recommended!
