I honestly just hoped for a top coat that would let me wear my polish for a day or two longer than usual, and did not really expect that it would also be fast drying, so I am thrilled to report that not only do I get the longer wear, but my nails also dry within a few minutes and are super shiny. I have tried this top coat over both Zoya and Julep, and while I experienced minor shrinking with the Zoya (may just be that one polish, need to try over others) I have had absolutely no issues with any Julep polish I've tried so far. The formula and brush are perfect, not too thick or too thin, and while it still smells like nail polish it's very mild and fades quickly.Tuesday, December 2, 2014

I got this as a free sample at Trade Secrets and didn't try it right away. Once I started using it, even with cheap nail polish, I was amazed at how quickly it dried and how long the polish lasted! When I ran out of the sample, I looked all over to buy this locally, turned to Amazon when I had problems finding it! Essie nail polish is my favorite now, can't believe how long the polish lasts, even on my "natural" nails!

I recommend this product to anyone that has any sort of imperfections on even one of their nails, because even if you don't notice imperfections on other nails, they are there. It makes these ridges and dips like they are not even there and really provides a clean smooth surface to paint on. Also, if you don't even use a base coat...you should start, this stuff is amazing. I've ordered polish from No Miss before and I was really disappointed with this one. I was looking for a soft mauve/lavender color and this was the closest I could find online. When I opened the box, I had a feeling it wasn't going to be great. The color comes on a SUPER metallic looking pink/lavender. There was also a nail polish smell with this one I don't remember there being with the last one. I'd like to order from these guys again, because I liked the first one so much, but I might have to try another brand.

Just tried my new Bikini Pink nail polish. It goes on nicely, and seems to last as well as other brands. Color is true to picture (South Beach Red), and it has a great texture too.It has a familiar smell to it though, like the conventional, chemically made nail polish, so that makes me wonder how natural it really is.

I just received these today and haven't used them yet but have experience with similar ones. These are great because after you apply your nail color you just stick them on...I always put a top coat on because i garden a lot but i dont think you have to. They look professionally done! Cheap REVLON Colorstay Nail Enamel, Base Coat, 0.4 Fluid Ounce
I should preface this review by noting the following nail polish chips off for me in one to two days; tried Opi Gel manicure looked great, impossible to get off; even with a long acetone soak nails not so pretty after that! Tried Shellac, big fan of that, worked well chipped anywhere from a week to 10 days relatively easy to soak off; about 5 minutes in acetone! Then decided no more salons bought my own UV Lamp and Shellac system and sure it worked, but finally grew old of time it took, potential damages from UV lamps, and it still does not do a world of good for your nails when the acetone soaks are involved! I then tried some other brand of gel nail polish chipped on day one!
Finally I tried this! It was on sale at the local grocery store so purchased this base coat, a few colors and as they were out of top coat, used the Opi regular top coat!
All I can say is WOW!!! I can now have nail polish that lasts a week no chipping, no peeling, it looks shiny; and even better, it comes off in seconds when I want it to with a quick swipe of an acetone soaked cotton ball! The base coat goes on easily, dries in about a minute and really provides a great base for the color of your choice! There is a huge selection of colors for this system (purported to offer a gel like look right out of the bottle, which it does) which is another plus! And personally I am going to stick with the Opi top coat as this is working well for me!
In a nutshell if you are fed up with the time and cost of a nail salon, and want to wear bright colors that do not chip yet do not require a long soak off time this is the way to go! Best polish ever!!

I have what a nail tech called "oily nail beds" polish literally peels off in one sheet within 24 hours of application. I have fairly long natural nails, but had given up on wearing nail polish. I read some reviews for the Revlon Colorstay base coat and gave it a shot. This stuff is great. When you use it with both the base coat and top coat and 2 COATS OF NAIL POLISH it stays on over a week. My nails grow pretty fast so after about one week I actually have to change my polish because you see that my nails have grown and there is no polish there. I usually use CNV base coat but it's a little hard on the nails. I read reviews on Orly and thought I'd give it a try. After a week my manicure started peeling off. I was able to remove all ten fingers by lifting and peeling. The nail underneath looked great but I'm not really happy that it didn't hold up longer that a week. I also used the Orly top coat. This is a nice sheer shimmery polish. I actually like to use Glamour Queen better since it's opaque color covers nail imperfections.
