OPI DS Extravagance is a beautiful color! It very purple/berry/dark magenta. It has some very fine holographic glitter in it that makes it seem like the polish shines from within. In direct sunlight, there's a nice sparkle to it, but blue sparkle seems to be the most dominant; the contrast between the blue sparkle and the berry tone of the polish is beautiful! The formula was awesome on this and I got full opacity in two coats. It dries pretty fast, too, and with a top coat my manicure lasted nearly 10 days with very little tip wear, which is unheard of for me! I can barely get my manis to last a good five days. I don't know if the good wear is just with this particular polish or if that's a trend with all OPI polishes because this is the only OPI I own. But if the long lasting wear is true of most OPI polishes, I'm definitely stocking up on them. I highly recommend this polish!

I like this nail polish. It looks like you painted your nails with liquid metal. It dries fast. It is hard to remove though.Best Deals on OPI Designer Series
The nail polish came to me covered in another nail polish... a much lighter shade. It was all over the bottle. I emailed the seller about this because this was to be a gift. My response I received, use nail polish remover. NICE! Well I did.. took the silver finish all off of the brush... could not give it as a gift. OPI nail lacquers are a great choice for those looking for unique color choices and color that lasts and doesn't chip off easily. When I first tried the OPI line I was amazed at the quality difference of OPI versus some of the more mainstream brands like Cover Girl, etc. When you first apply the nail polish you can tell the difference in the way it goes on. It is very smooth and sleek it attaches to your nail and looks incredible on. It has a higher luster than other brands and it really does wear for more days than some of it's cheaper competitors. I was not very sure about this color as I bought it based on what it looked like in pictures...and I love it!I am not sure I would like to use it in my hands but we'll see...can't wait to wear sandals and show off this color!
