I decided to try the Revlon Brilliant Strength polish in Dazzle, a modest pink with glitter, because (A) I was looking for something light and girly after a few months of dark polishes (B) my nails were feeling a tad brittle. The first coat had me skeptical, as it was nearly invisible. Most pale pinks are light on the first coat, but this was honestly not much more than a clear coat. But by two coats it was pretty, and three coats was perfect! Didn't need a top coat. And my favorite part is that this stuff dries FAST and doesn't go on goopy like so many other polishes.
I am curious to try a solid color, as glitter polishes are much more forgiving, but overall I was VERY pleased with this stuff. I've only had it on for a few hours, so we shall see about the "strengthening" part, but it does smell noticeably different because of the lack of formaldehyde it has a strange, almost yeasty smell and that made me feel more confident that it wouldn't strip my nails of everything they had left.
Well done, Revlon! This product is a keeper!
EDIT: This stuff also removes quite easily with standard nail polish remover a rarity for something with glitter. If I had to make ONE complaint, it's that the polish kind of lost some of its luster after a day or two. But nothing a quick top coat couldn't fix!
