I am not a nailtech, but I do know how to do my nails. I bite my nails, and I don't when I have gel or acrylic nails. I prefer gels. I had bought a lamp that I was told would cure my nails, the mini model. It doesn't work. I returned it, and ordered this lamp on Amazon. I realize this lamp isn't the CND lamp, and I used my own judgement. I cured everything at 120 minutes, or 120 x 2 minutes. And I got beautiful results with the Nail Bliss system. My nails (due to this lamp) look professionally done. This lamp is totally worth the money. The bulbs must be 36 watt for gels to cure, and this one is. I like the bulbs that are on each side, and over the top. The lamp made the nail gel application quite easy. The lamp can also be used to dry regular polish, and also do shellac and toes.

I bought this lamp because I love gel manicures but can't afford to get them done all the time. With this lamp, I'm able to do my own gel manicure in about 25 min with a professional look. I can only fit one hand in at a time, but because I'm painting my own nails....it's all I need.

Item works great. I am brand new to gel nails and LOVE the timer function. I also love how the lights wrap around inside, my thumb never cures right at the salon, but with this baby it gets totally cured even near the bottom because of the side lights!

This little light works just like the one at the salon with my CND Shellac polish. For the cost of 3 salon manicures I got the light and a whole set of polish so that I can do my manicures at home. I'll save a bundle on nail salon manicures and also get to do my nails at my own convenience without having the polish chip or lose luster until I take it off.
