This little LED lamp works wonders! I was spending quite a bit of money going to get my nails done at a salon every 2 weeks, so I decided to put that money into my own lamp and polishes. It more than pays for itself, after only several uses! It has saved me so much time and money. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is VERY narrow for doing my toenails, and I have small feet.

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to save time AND money!

The Uspicy Madeliene Portable Super Mini Cute Size Compact Handy LED Gels Nail Dryer is a perfect little portable dryer that can be used for both fingernails and toenails. I chose to use EZ Flow 1st Launch Gel Polish, Jellybean which is one of TruGel's launch colors is a vibrant purple that you can either use on your fingernails or toenails. It's labeled as being for "professional use only," but I have a couple of products that makes it easy to do at home, including this Uspicy UV Nail Lamp. I also used a pair of USpicy Highly UV Protective Gloves.

Once I had all my materials together I simply followed the instructional video on the TruGel website. You can either go it alone or have fun with a friend. Make sure you roll the polish in between the palms of your hands and give it a few good shakes to ensure it mixes well, otherwise it will be watery. Put on your protective gloves before starting.

1) Prep your nails and cuticles properly. If you don't the bonder and polish won't adhere well.

2) Apply a coat of Ez Flow TruGel Bond-It-On Gel Bonder and let it fully dry. You can do all your fingernails and thumbs at this time.

3) Apply Ez Flow TruGel base coat to four fingers (you will be doing the thumbs separately). Make sure you do the tip edge of your fingernails.

4) Cure all four fingers for 1 minute in the Uspicy Madeliene Portable Super Mini Cute Size Compact Handy LED Gels Nail Dryer.

5) Repeat the process on the other hand.

6) You should do your thumbs separately to make sure that they cure properly.

7) Apply Ez Flow TruGel base coat to your thumbs. Make sure you do the tip edge of your thumbnails.

8) Place both your thumbs beneath the Uspicy Madeliene Portable Super Mini Cute Size Compact Handy LED Gels Nail Dryer for one minute. Press them flat to ensure best results.

9) Apply your gel polish of choice to your fingernails. This must be a polish specifically made for LED/UV lamps or it won't work properly. I chose to use EZ Flow 1st Launch Gel Polish, Jellybean

10) Cure all four fingers for 3 minutes in the Uspicy Madeliene Portable Super Mini Cute Size Compact Handy LED Gels Nail Dryer.

11) Repeat the process on the other hand.

12) You should do your thumbs separately to make sure that they cure properly

13) Apply your gel polish of choice to your thumbnails. Make sure you do the tip edges of your thumbnails.

14) Place both your thumbs beneath the Uspicy Madeliene Portable Super Mini Cute Size Compact Handy LED Gels Nail Dryer for 3 minutes. Press them flat to ensure best results.

15) Apply a second coat, repeating the process.

16) Apply a coat of EX Flow Trugel System Top Coat, repeating the same process, including drying under the LED lamp for three minutes.

It obviously will take a bit of practice to make perfect, but because this is a long-lasting polish there is plenty in the bottle to play around with. It will wipe off easily if you make an initial mistake and there's always nail polish remover if you want to change colors. I prefer the acetone-free which is readily available locally.

The dryer worked perfectly and I was even able to do my toenails under it. If you have an especially wide foot, you may wish to pass on it for that purpose. The portability factor is nice, especially if you are going on a trip. The unit is very compact and can be easily tucked into a suitcase. This is definitely a five star product!

On the first time of using it I realized that It takes 3x longer to "cook" the polish onto the nail. I would recommend spending more for the pro version as this one's lamp is only 6w compared to the regular 36W.

I gave this product 4* because it was advertised as a Gel Polish Dryer. I wanted it for regular nail polish, so I took a chance that it would dry them faster. It is a little faster and it works ,looks and does as described. Maybe I will try the GEL Polish and see if it is faster. The only reason I did not give it 5* is because I can only get 4 Fingers in it at a time, I have to dry the thumbs separately, I have long slender fingers so the size of them are not the problem. If they would like to improve the product it needs to be about 1"-11/2" wider. but overall it is a good product and I still use it most of the time.
