I LOVE the color purple and this did not disappoint me in any way. It is more of a "blue" purple which is a more "True" purple. I really love the BLUESKY line because you can use it with other Gel product and there's no problems with compatibility. I really like the CND and OPI gels, and can use Bluesky without my polish looking funky and having to take it off and reapply. I did try to use a CND with a LeChat and they did not go well at all...it looked terrible in fact. I combine Bluesky colors with CND & OPI base and top coats wth no problems.

Anyway, if you like a "True" purple you should try this one! It's not a really dark purple but it's not a light one either!

the perfect Marilyn Monroe red i love it. it goes on smooth you dont really need two coats but a second coat makes it a little nicer.

I was excited to find a shellac for less than $12 and when I received the "Rose Bud" color I loved it! That's where the excitement ended...

When I painted my nails using my normal process with the "Gelish" brand and this nail polish, the paint chipped in less than 24 hours. I painted my nails at 9 pm and by 5 pm the next day the tips were all peeling or chipped. I didn't do anything that would have caused this to happen, just an easy relaxing day. besides no matter what I do with gel nails I haven't had this issue before. I have used Gelish products for a long while now and never had any polish chip or peel. My nail colors always last longer than 2 weeks, usually 3-4 weeks and I have to soak the color off because of outgrowth at the nail bed.

The product description states, "14 Day No Chip Manicure" and "Shellac is resilient and with most people remains flawless for 14 or more days", sadly for "Bluesky" brand this is not true. I would stick with known products such as Gelish and CND. Even OPI regular nail polish (non-gel/shellac) lasts at least 3 days.

listed as shellac but is actually gel...huge, huge difference and very misleading!! I will give it to my duaghter as she does use gel. Definite misrepresentation though!
