Eternal Optimist is a great Essie color. I've been looking for a very natural color to paint my nails when they are short. This is one of the best I've found. There's just a hint of shimmer in itnot noticeable to most people, but enough to not look totally flat. Darker than my pinkish Caucasian skin tone, closer to my natural lip color. So it's a little color but nothing flashy.
The photo on my screen is not very accurate, it dries darker. It's not completely opaque so it needs more than one coat. Paint it on fast, because it dries fast.I love all the essie nail polishes. This happy color is very fitting for the summer, especially on the toes.
