I used this polish over a darker mint green and it came out very nicely. It would be nice on its own, as well, or as part of a french. One coat at a time will ensure it applies as it should. It will start to dry on the brush in about 20-30 seconds, so you may need to re-dip the brush, but for the price, it's an excellent polish.
