The sample color is nothing like what is in the bottle. I thought it might be less sheer than it was. It is basically a clear coat with just a slight pink hue.

Love this shade!

Buyers, if you are contemplating this product it is a UV polish. Quite different to traditional polish you will need the Shellac UV base coat, top coat, a color like this....and a UV lamp. It is essentially baked on or 'cured' with a UV light and will not dry on its own

I really got fed up of polishing my nails only to have it chip and peel within a day so I tried the OPI UV and loved the look polish stays on for 2 weeks , no chipping but it came with a price tag locally for me $40 plus it you had to wait half an hour to soak off or chip off and ruin your nails!

Reviews suggested this works much the same as OPI but does not take as long to remove so I purchased two shades, a UV top coat, base coat and UV lamp my total out of pocket was $180, but I figured going to a salon costs $40 plus tip so this will pay for itself in 4 uses!

It is so simple, if you can polish your mails with regular nail polish then you can do this, only once done, you have beautiful color, amazing shine and it stays on for at least 2 weeks the whole time looking like you just stepped out of a salon!

I love Shellac and I am a big fan of light pink & neutrals. I thought this would be a good base for french manicures. It is more of a clear coat that is tinted pink. I really don't see a sheer wash of pinkjust shiney clear. I didn't try 3 coats, think I'll stick to Romantic or Negligee for french.

I am 57 years old and no, this shellac is not too dark for someone my age! It is a beautiful color for any season of the year. The compliments have rolled in. Love it.

Note: If you are looking for a regular nail polish, be adviced that shellac and the gel polishes DO NOT go on your nails like the regular ones. I am saying this so you will not order the wrong item. If you are looking for a shellac color, by all means, try this one!

As I have stated with another review for Shellac I think this is worth pointing out to potential buyers that this is a UV polish it requires curing via a UV light and is used with Shellac UV base and top coats!

Having purchased a bunch of pinks and reds, I decided on something a bit different and this certainly fit the bill! Its a beautiful color, really unique and perfect as we go into Fall!

The color may best be described as a deep purple! It is a deep inky color. I cured the base coat for about 2 minutes, as I find this works better than the time suggested on the bottle which is in seconds, then applied 2 coats curing each for 2 minutes! It needs the 2 coats as the color is a little faint and washed out with just one application! Then followed with a generous coat of the Shellac top coat!

The result: pretty and shiny nails, I have been wearing this color for 10 days and still no peeling or chipping! It looks as shiny as the first day I applied it and the color is still vibrant! It is really a cool modern color and will look great for Fall / Winter and a great party idea for Halloween! It is pretty dark so worth noting!

To remove I find the easiest thing is to get a small bowl, fill with some acetone and soak for about 6-10 minutes, it simply melts off with no problem!
